Talk With a Team Member: Andrea

How long have you worked at Boesen Law?

5 ½ months

Describe a fun memory/experience you have had since working here.

We had a free sign-up for March Madness. Boy was it madness. I thought I was the winner the whole way through, until the final. Neither of my teams was in. Moral of my story… Don’t count your chickens (money) before they hatch.

What drew you to wanting to work in the legal field?

I had always loved watching all the legal TV shows. I was drawn to seeing people helped, supported, and listened to and having a client’s best interest as a primary goal. I knew those were values I had, so here I am. And I love it!

What do you like most about working in your position and why?

People come to us after serious car accidents, they are lost, don’t know how to handle the situation, and most of all hurt. My heart aches to see our clients in pain. I love to spend time listening, encouraging, and at times praying with them. I’ve been involved in motor vehicle accidents, have had chronic spine issues, so I can relate my experiences, which I believe lessons some of their fears, and gives some peace and hope to heal.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spend time with my beautiful daughter. Sledding, hiking, Elitches Season Pass (water park), swimming, biking, and most important, church on Sunday. She and I always go to service and then volunteer with the 0-2-year-olds at the other 1 or 2 services we have at Summit Church.

Best piece of (general) advice received?
