Thornton Police Department said the crash involved three cars (a van, a pickup, and a jeep) which all collided with one another according to an article from CBS 4 News. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time.

The police department said that two people were transported to hospitals with serious injuries, however the seriousness of each person’s injury is not known at this time.
